Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) lot of numbers and lot of words are there but this is basically Samsung‘s latest greatest most affordable android tablet yet. It’s a 7 inch tablet, comes with Android OS 4.0 aka ICS. It gives the storage and dual core CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 runs on Google’s Android 4.0 ICS skinned with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. Along with TouchWiz, Samsung brings a lot of preloaded apps such as eBuddy XMS, TuneIn Radio, PolarisOffice, Samsung Apps, Chat On and more. Samsung Allshare app is preloaded on this device. This app is all about sharing multimedia content with the Galaxy Tab and a TV which is DLNA enabled.
On the left bottom side of the screen there are sensitive keys they stands for homepage, back, task manager for easy and better access of applications and freeing space or memory and for screen shots there is a specific nifty button also.
Design and Build-
It has the build of a typical 7-inch tablet. It seems way better than any budget tablet but doesn’t contain the stylish experience of the Apple iPad. It has the 7-inch display, which is glossy, and a fingerprint magnet as well. Talking about the rear, it has a grey plastic matte finish & that’s pleasant. Which makes the device resistive to fingerprints & dust with an elegant finish.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is actually thin measuring in at 10.5mm and is comparatively light at 345 grams. It seems really strong in ones hands. Considering its dimension, the gadget is very comfortable in both modes.
The Galaxy tab 2 7.0 is available in three variants of internal storage – 8GB / 16GB / 32GB. Memory is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. There is a slot under a flap for microSD to the left of the device along with SIM card slot.
Summary
It is an unbelievable device. It definitely hits the sweet spot among the budget tablets and the Apple iPad. It is a available on a cost of Rs. 19900 and its value for money as in it contains nice features and specifications, and it performs better than the Sony Tablet S and the Motorola Xoom. The only disappointment comes by means of the display, which might have had a improved resolution and as we know Google Play store doesn’t have tablet specific apps. If you are comfortable to spend Rs. 20,000 on a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 should absolutely be on your list.
Our Conclusion-
The first tablet to run on Ice Cream Sandwich is this Galaxy tab 2 7.0 but it does undergo on Wi-Fi connectivity problems and a screen that is not consistently responsive. However, it’s on sale for the Rs. 20,000, we think it might be worth putting up with its few small niggles.

it is the screen size. 7 inches. and the measurement is taken diagonally. not vertically or horizontally.
Its screen is really not responsive some time, on some websites like Facebook, Yahoo mail etc
It is the problem of the sites not the device. The sites are not optimized for such android tablet.
