Run Linux on you Android Phone

Hi my friends I’m here to teach you with this tutorial how to run almost (probably is all, as soon as you have an arm based distro) Linux distro. In this tutorial teach you to install Ubuntu 12 as an example, with the use of an android application called Complete Linux Installer, . The installation guides is a detailed as it can get, you can read a lot of text there and it isn’t difficult to install your Linux distro even without this tutorial, as soon as your mobile phone is rooted.
BEFORE WE BEGIN THE INSTALLATION   I AND ANDROIDNOVA  ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE BECAUSE OF ACCIDENTALLY DELETED OR MESSED UP SOMETHING ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE , THE APPLICATION WILL NOT DESTROY THE ANDROID PHONE SINCE IT WILL NOT “TOUCH IT” BUT BE CAREFUL.

Now let’s begin, go to Play Store and search for the application called Complete Linux Installer the free version and install it. Now launch it and you will see the following screen.

And this screen will show up , now before press Next unzip the zip file in a folder called “ubuntu” in the root of your sdcard and press Next to continue after  it finished.

And now your Ubuntu installation is finished and ready to be executed.
Press Finish to close it and you will return back to the following screen.

Press at Launch Button and next In the screen that will appear select Ubuntu, now you only need to press at start Linux button.

The first time it runs it will probably ask you to give two passwords (I suggest you to use the same) type them, type them correctly, it’s a little pain to fix them later if you don’t succeed to change them and somewhere between the screen resolution that it will have type  it in the format of 1024768 .

Now the only thing you need to do is from your mobile phone to open the vncviewer app and type localhost or 127.0.0.1 and the password you typed. If you want to control it through your desktop pc, or notebook open the Wi-Fi from your android phone, and open an application like UltraVnc and give the IP address of your mobile phone and the password when asked . Now you can do whatever you like in your small Ubuntu pc .

To Close the linux now go to the Terminal  app and type the command “exit” and wait it to finish.
